CTE Intro

Course Overview:

CTE Intro is Utah´s exploratory Career and Technical Education Core Curriculum requirement for middle/junior high school. The purpose of this program is to allow students to be involved in activity-centered lessons, which utilize technology, develop beginning skills, and explore careers.

CTE Intro is a year-long class presented by a team of teachers and counselors. Each quarter the student will move among the Business, Tech Ed., FACS, and Careers classes.

CTE Missing Late Work:

After an assignment has been completed in class, students will have 1 week to turn in the assignment for full credit. All work handed in late will receive half credit through the teacher cut-off date.

CTE Labs:

Students are expected to show appropriate behavior while in the labs at all times. Students are expected to follow all lab rules and respect equipment within the labs. Failure to do so will result in losing lab privileges.

Teacher Availability:

Teachers will be available after school Tuesday-Thursday until 3:20 or by appointment.
